| so i've been super busy trying to get things in order for this summer. i've had some good times and some bad times but i think everything is balanced for the moment ;) the bad thing was a school related issue. turns out my original advisor that i'd been going to since fall qrt had left sinclair for another job in columbus BUT did she say anything to me? NOPE!! i went in to make an appointment w/her and they saw she's gone...nice. so i was assigned to another lady (which so far i like) and she informed me that i can't get into the PT assistant program till fall 2007 b/c the fall 2006 class is full. so now here i am all done w/my pre-reqs, taken all classes needed outside my major and now i have to wait another year doing nothing but bullshit classes that i don't even need for a whole frickin year. bloody hell man!!! i was furious...well i still am furious. it'd be stupid to quit now but it's oh so tempting.
my good times were far more numerious (thanx goodness). it started with a friend of mine's little girl turning one year old. can't believe so much time has passed. of course we "adults" celebrated in our own way later that night with some drinks and a game of quarters and some fast food at 230am. i'd never played quarters before but it was so much fun! i'm no ace at it by far but i got a few in and that made me happy. it's all in the wrist ;) my other fun thing was on tuesday. ben and i went to mansfield to see the kingwood center. it used to be an old manor way back in the day that they converted into a park. it's really pretty! i'd been bugging him to death about going since last time i was there all the flowers were dead...so we went. we walked around, ate some really really awesome chinese food under a tree and played with tadpoles. plus it was all nice and sunny that day too so it was perfect :) other good things include my nana finally coming home from NH. she'd been sick up there but now she's better to come home. i'd missed her a lot and i'm glad she's back. my niece, madison, turns one here soon so i'm excited about that. and of course the gin blossums are coming to vets memorial park! and i'm going to see them!!!!! so excited!
